Certified Recovery Specialist- Philly Home

This position is for a Certified Recovery Specialist working with individuals currently experiencing mental health challenges. The role involves providing peer support, building rapport, and encouraging recovery and personal growth through group therapy and community involvement. Candidates must have a high school diploma, experience in the co-occurring field, and a willingness to contribute to a sense of purpose and empowerment.

Requirements

• Peer Specialist Certification required.
• High school diploma of GED.
• 12 months full or part-time paid/volunteer experience in the co-occurring field.
• Commitment to recovery and empowerment.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of co-occurring disorders.
• Ability to build trust with peers.
• Must be supervised by the Program Director
