Job Description
This is a full-time, evening, 2PM-10PM or 3PM-11PM shift position for a Patient Services Assistant I at the Lewisburg, PA, Emergency Department. The role involves coordinating care for ED patients, acting as a receptionist, providing data entry services, and ensuring accurate patient records. It's a 24/7 role requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Conduct patient interviews and insurance authorization.
- Collect patient information, including insurance co-payments and treatment consent.
- Manage and update patient records in electronic systems.
- Follow safety regulations and department procedures.
