Job Description
This Full Time position for an MRI Technologist involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients, including obtaining patient histories, administering contrast media, and following MRI safety protocols. The role includes training new staff and passing the ARRT advanced level specialty exam. It operates within a strong compliance program.
Requirements
- Performs MR imaging studies and obtains patient histories.
- Administers intravenous contrast media and manages complications.
- Schedules cases and coordinates patient examinations.
- Immobilizes and practices MRI safety procedures.
- Prepares and maintains written documentation.
