CT/RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST

Weiser Memorial hospital is seeking a full-time CT/Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and routine X-rays, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Perform CT and routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply radiation safety principles (ALARA).
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain necessary consent forms.
• Schedule and prepare patients for imaging exams.
• Record and verify patient history and exam information.
• Properly position patients using appropriate devices.
• Select appropriate techniques and protocols for each exam.
• Manipulate and reconstruct images to best visualize anatomy.
• Review and evaluate image quality before sending to the radiologist.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and security protocols.
