Job Description
Weekdays is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team. The role involves translating conceptual ideas into manufacturable designs, ensuring performance, reliability, cost, and safety. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key. Candidates will be responsible for design development and product lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Advanced skills in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modeling, drafting, and design validation.
- Familiarity with GD&T and mechanical drawing standards.
- Experience with Sheet Metal Design, Machined Components, Welded Assemblies, and Plastic Parts Design.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes.
