Weber Shandwick is seeking a Marketing Communications / Business Development Manager to join our growing social impact practice in Tokyo, Japan. The role will involve leading integrated work streams, developing strategic communication plans, and delivering exceptional results for clients.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in public relations, sustainability communications, ESG, corporate reputation, or integrated communications
- Native-level Japanese communication skills with strong written and verbal English proficiency
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
- Confident, thoughtful communicator with ability to guide clients and mentor junior staff
- Familiarity with digital, social, and key opinion leaders' engagement in the Japanese market
- Passion for social issues, environmental trends, cultural insights, and creative storytelling
