Job Description
Senior Software Engineer - Java position at Weave, building robust backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the design, implementation, and architecture of new or re-engineered software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with back-end languages, strong emphasis on production-level Java
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Go in the future
- Experience building SaaS products at scale
- Willing to participate in an on-call rotation
- Experience working with distributed systems, inter-service communication protocols, and APIs
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), protobufs/gRPC, and CI/CD
- Experience with pipeline monitoring, metrics, alerting, log aggregation, and tracing
