Job Description
Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Software Developer to build and architect non-custodial crypto infrastructure. This role involves integrating with DEXs, working on Ethereum, and contributing to the evolution of decentralized finance. Requirements
- Proven experience in the crypto/blockchain industry with hands-on development experience
- Deep familiarity with integrating DEXs, wallet providers, and smart contract protocols
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including transaction mechanics, gas optimization, and security considerations
- Experience with Ethereum and other major blockchain networks, including Layer 2 solutions
- Working knowledge of smart contract development and interaction (EVM/SVM)
- Solid background in backend development with languages like Ruby on Rails, Java, Kotlin, or Python
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate the rapidly evolving crypto landscape
- Passion for decentralized finance and its potential to democratize financial services
