Job Description
Waymo is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join their Legal team. This hybrid role will focus on navigating the complex legal landscape surrounding their autonomous driving technology, advising on regulatory changes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and drive business growth. The position involves interpreting and advising on new laws, engaging in legislative review, and proactively anticipating legal risks.
Requirements
- Law degree (LLB, LLM or JD)
- Admitted to practice law in an EU member state or as a Solicitor or Barrister in the UK
- 5-8+ years of experience as an attorney.
- Experience with regulatory and legislative matters in the UK and/or EU
- Experience working on emerging technology issues
