WaterAid is seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to lead their media team and drive sustainable change. This 12-month fixed-term contract will focus on developing innovative media campaigns to support fundraising, public engagement, and building the WaterAid brand. The role involves managing partnerships, creating digital content, and liaising with journalists, as well as providing strategic media advice.
Requirements
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating others
- Proven experience of working in an in-house media team or PR agency
- Proven experience of creating and delivering effective and innovative integrated, multi-channel media campaigns with digital media at their core
- Experience of liaising with journalists of all levels, especially national and consumer media
- Experience of utilising digital and social media
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Commitment to personal learning, development and improvement
