Emergency Medical Technician - Emergency Department - Full Time- Nights

Emergency Medical Technicians are responsible for providing patient care in the Emergency Department. They assist nurses and physicians in providing appropriate medical care and adhere to established methods and policies. Responsibilities may include assisting with patient transport, performing essential functions of the job and other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent work experience
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Current or previous experience as an EMT in the pre-hospital or emergency department settings
• Emotionally stable to work in a hospital environment
