Field Service Engineer 4S EDG Engines

Wärtsilä is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team working on emergency diesel engines installed in nuclear power plants. The role involves supervising a team of technicians, performing preventive maintenance and repair operations, and participating in troubleshooting and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor + 2 or other high school diploma
• Intermediate level of written and spoken English
• Deep knowledge of diesel engine mechanics (knowledge of Wärtsilä engines would be an advantage)
• 5 year-experience in the industrial Marine or Energy area (knowledge of nuclear sector would be an advantage)
• Precision and rigour, attention to Safety and Quality topics
• Endurance, Flexibility, Autonomy
• Team spirit and good interpersonal skills
• Strong focus on process improvement
• Attentivity to the customer satisfaction
• Mobility (multi-week delegations)
