Job Description
Walter P Moore is seeking a Technical Modeler to work closely with the structural engineering team. This role involves rapid development of BIMs, annotating plans, creating 3D renderings, and assisting with structural narrative creation. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with clients, architects, and contractors. Projects range in scale from small residential to large-scale facilities.
Requirements
- 3-7 years’ experience in relevant commercial building design as an architectural or structural designer, modeler or engineer
- Demonstrated career growth in design teams
- Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting or Drafting Technology preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Revit, Tekla, and AutoCAD
- Proactive, strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client-service oriented
- Relevant experience designing sports, aviation, healthcare, education, office buildings, and cultural buildings
