Job Description
We seek well prepared students of top engineering schools to expand their education in structural engineering through the internship program offered at Walter P Moore. As an engineering intern in our structural engineering group, you will participate on project teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings.
Requirements
- A sound technical background, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great structures are required.
- BS - Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering
- Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
- EIT preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill required
- Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week
