Job Description
W-Industries is an energy service company seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and be able to operate CNC and manual sheet metal machinery.
Requirements
- Fabricate sheet metal parts and assemblies using various tools, equipment, and machinery
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and fabrication methods
- Perform layout and measurement of sheet metal stock, ensuring precision and accuracy
- Weld, rivet, or otherwise join sheet metal components as required
- Inspect fabricated parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of fabrication equipment
- Follow established safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, and other fabricators to resolve production challenges
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
