Job Description
Vyve Broadband is seeking an Outside Plant Network Maintenance Technician to keep communities connected by maintaining, optimizing, and repairing internet and TV infrastructure. This role involves advanced diagnostics, leadership, outage resolution, and proactive network maintenance. The ideal candidate will be part of a growing network, offering training and support for professional development.
Requirements
- BT IV certification or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ months as a Broadband Technician III or equivalent field network experience.
- Ability to splice coax and fiber optic cable.
- Proficiency with signal meters, spectrum analyzers, OTDRs, volt-ohm meters, and leak detectors.
- Understanding of HFC and IP networks.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
