Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Your tasks are to accompany people who are in need of care, to recognize their needs, to plan their care, to give them professional advice, and to perform care individually. This is a diverse and responsible field of tasks.

During your training, you will learn how to care for patients and perform medical treatments, as well as how to use medical equipment and instruments. After completing the training as a recognized state nurse, you will have many career opportunities in our modern clinic.

• a team player who can also take on tasks independently
• ready to work closely with sick and care-dependent people

Requirements

YOU HAVE:

• a middle school diploma or a comparable completed 10-year general education
• a 9-year school leaving certificate with a successfully completed at least one-year vocational training as a nurse, care assistant or child caregiver
• certified physical fitness
• sufficient language skills in German (B2 level)

About Us

The Vulpius Clinic is a specialist clinic for orthopedics and trauma surgery with 117 beds and teaching hospital of the University of Heidelberg.

Our performance range includes all areas of modern orthopedics with a focus on endoprosthetics, arthroscopic surgery, shoulder and elbow surgery, foot and ankle surgery, hand surgery and pediatric orthopedics.

In addition, there is a broad spectrum of conservative treatments for all acute and chronic pain syndromes with orthopedic underlying diseases.
