Leitwarten-Operator (m/w/d) – First-Level Betrieb Batteriespeicher (BESS)

Float Discharge develops battery storage solutions for reliable and sustainable energy supply. As a Battery Operator, you are the first point of contact for malfunctions, actively contribute to system security, and coordinate/communicate with internal teams and customers. This role involves real-time monitoring, remote shutdowns, and coordinating with relevant specialists.

Requirements

• Completed training or study in the field of electrical engineering, energy engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• First experience in a steering wheel, network steering, SCADA environment or in the technical planning oversight
• Basic understanding of battery technology (Lithium-Ion, Degradation, Second Life concepts) is an advantage
• Analytical thinking and quick decision-making in critical situations
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• High reliability, team working ability and structured work even under pressure
• Understanding of shift duties and work schedule
• Report generation capabilities
