Job Description
VMD Corp, part of Xcelerate Solutions, is seeking Security Training Instructor (STI) candidates to manage training at the Sonoma County Airport (STS). The role involves training and maintaining screening awareness, managing training materials, supporting recurrent training, and providing quality assessments. Successful candidates will be qualified to deliver nationally developed TSA training, pass certification exams, and contribute to continuous security improvement.
Requirements
- Must meet the requirements and certification of a Level II Transportation Security Officer (TSO)
- At least one of the following experience requirements must be met:
- Minimum of 2 years adult-learning classroom instruction experience
- Instructor certification from a recognized instructor-training program
- Formal instructor training from a recognized source
- Teaching Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of adult-learning classroom instruction
- US citizenship or US National citizenship
- Minimum Clearance to start: Public Trust
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
