Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of the interdisciplinary team, providing coordination of care and assessment to hospice patients and families. This role focuses on palliative care, including case management, supervision of nursing tasks, and communication with patients, families, and referral sources. Salary range: $38 - $43/hour.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• Reliable transportation with adequate insurance coverage.
• Telephone available.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health in the last five years.
• Equivalent experience or licensure may be considered.
