Nurse Practitioner

VITAS Palliative Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide consultation in palliative care, symptom management, and supportive care to patients and families. The role involves facilitating patient goals, assisting with diagnosis and treatment, educating staff, and ensuring accurate patient records are maintained. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential.

Requirements

• Minimum five years nursing experience
• Clinical nursing experience in oncology, hospice, geriatrics, or intensive care preferred
• Knowledge of the interdisciplinary team concept
• Experience in patient education and pain management
• Valid driver's license and appropriate insurance
• Masters of Nursing degree
• Certification/ licensure in relevant nurse specialty (Clinical Nurse Specialist or Practitioner)
• DEA license
