We are seeking an Executive Chef to oversee the culinary department at Vitalia Active Adult Community Mentor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in senior housing or a related field and possess excellent leadership, training, and supervision skills.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in senior housing or related field (preferred, not required)
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Formal culinary, food service or restaurant training or equivalent experience
- Ability to create, modify, and print word processing and spreadsheet documents using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to send, receive, and forward email
- Must be physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
- Must be criminally cleared
