Director, Insurance Learning and Development

The Director, Insurance Learning and Development is a senior-level role responsible for architecting and delivering Virtus’ enterprise training ecosystem, including new-hire onboarding, Property & Casualty technical training, workflow and systems training, client service standards, professional development, and CE-accredited programming to support licensing requirements.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in commercial insurance, with strong P&C expertise.
• Demonstrated proficiency in coverage, placement, servicing, workflow design, and technical fundamentals.
• Experience in curriculum design, training facilitation, or professional development.
• Strong familiarity with state continuing education requirements.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, systems training, and agency management workflows.
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU, CIC, or equivalent designation strongly preferred.
