Tax Accountant

Our client is an Australian accounting firm looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to handle end-to-end tax and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working with Australian accounting or taxation, strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and ATO compliance, and experience using Australian accounting software.

Requirements

• Prepare and lodge Individual, Partnership, Company, and Trust tax returns
• Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and FBT
• Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with ATO requirements
• Review financial statements and ensure accuracy of reporting
• Assist in tax planning and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities
• Communicate with the ATO regarding notices, follow-ups, and assessments
• Work collaboratively with the client's accounting team and maintain strong client communication
