Job Description
Australia’s discount variety retailer is seeking an Inventory Accountant to maintain accurate inventory records, prepare reports, and support finance team operations. The role involves stock accounting, reconciliations, GRIR management, and month-end processes within a remote, nationwide environment.
Requirements
- Perform daily and weekly stock accounting tasks and assist with ad hoc inventory issues.
- Prepare and analyse inventory reports and reconciliations.
- Manage GRIR (Goods Received/Invoice Received) processes and ensure timely resolution.
- Liaise with distribution centres and the supply chain to verify inventory accuracy.
- Support month-end reporting and assist with financial audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
