Job Description
VSO is seeking a highly skilled Senior NOC Network Engineer to join their Lorton, VA team. This role involves leading network troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and ensuring network reliability, especially in Tier 3 support. The ideal candidate will have advanced network operations expertise and a passion for complex problem-solving.
Requirements
- Serve as the escalation point for complex network issues.
- Lead the diagnosis and resolution of critical network incidents.
- Design, implement, and maintain network configurations.
- Collaborate with network architects and other teams on network design.
- Oversee the integration of new network technologies.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to NOC personnel.
- Maintain documentation on network architecture and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network emergencies.
