Job Description
Vir Biotechnology is seeking an accomplished Senior Scientist I to join their Drug Product and Device Development group. This role involves technical leadership for the development of both liquid and lyophilized formulations, supporting process development and manufacturing, and acting as a scientific representative on cross-functional teams. The position offers a balance of laboratory work and leadership responsibilities and a supportive work environment.
Requirements
- PhD with 5+ years, Master’s with 8+ years’ or Bachelor’s with 10+ years’ experience
- Expertise in formulation and drug product development for monoclonal antibodies and biologics
- Proficiency in experimental design (DoE), data analysis, and use of statistical programs
- Strong working knowledge of analytical methods supporting formulation assessments
- Experience authoring development reports, batch records, SOPs, regulatory filings
- Previous experience representing Drug Product and formulation on inter-disciplinary teams
