Economic Justice Advocate

The Economic Justice Advocate provides culturally specific, trauma-informed supportive services to promote economic independence and long-term stability for survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence. This role focuses on coaching, facilitation, and training to support immigrant and Latinx survivors in developing small businesses, accessing financial tools, and building collective economic power.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, business, communications, or equivalent experience
• Fully bilingual required (English/Spanish, verbal and written)
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in career development, financial literacy, small business coaching, or vocational counseling
• Experience providing instruction to adults with limited formal education or workforce experience
• Experience facilitating digital literacy, social media, or business development workshops strongly preferred
• Knowledge of small business development, entrepreneurship, and marketing for immigrant or survivor-led businesses a plus
• Familiarity with digital platforms including Microsoft Office, Canva, Shopify, Etsy, and Instagram
