Job Description
The Personal Care Aide / CNA provides assistance to residents in an Assisted Living Community with activities of daily living. This role involves providing assistance with toileting, ambulation, eating, and hygiene, along with teaching self-care skills. The position requires adherence to Care Plan guidelines, participation in required training, and performing basic personal care tasks, along with performance of special health related tasks as approved by doctors' orders.
Requirements
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
- Complete 45-hour and/or 80-hour training course.
- Read, write, understand, and follow directions.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Bend, squat, and reach overhead.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program.
