Job Description
The Personal Care Aide / CNA provides support and care to residents in an Assisted Living Community, assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring resident safety and dignity. This role involves personal care tasks, direct observation of residents, transportation assistance, and communication with relevant staff. The position requires adherence to specific training and policy requirements.
Requirements
- C.N.A or Personal Care Aide Certificate (80-Hour)
- Reading, writing, understanding, and following directions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50+ pounds.
- Good vision and hearing, and ability to adjust to work in varied physical conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program.
- Clear SBI record and maintain during employment.
- Two-step tuberculin skin test within two weeks of first test.
