Job Description
This part-time position involves menu planning and preparation for a residential facility. Responsibilities include creating nutritionally adequate meals daily, managing food inventory, and ensuring food safety. The cook will also prepare lunches for residents attending day programs.
Requirements
- Prepare required menus at least one week in advance.
- Plan therapeutic menus with physicians' orders.
- Maintain a detailed preference list of foods for residents.
- Prepare and serve three meals a day.
- Assist with food deliveries and inventory.
- Ensure hot and cold foods are served to appropriate temperatures.
- Assist with menu snacks.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
