Job Description
The Accounting Associate is responsible for billing, financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, expense management, financial analysis, compliance and auditing, tax preparation, budgeting and forecasting, and financial software management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- 5+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing
- Experience in Government Contracting with Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Plus and/or Time and Materials a plus
