Senior Buyer

Join Vestas, the world leader in wind technology, as a Senior Buyer in Chennai, India. As a member of the Procurement department, you will support the company's global business and end customers, building a competitive advantage in the growing market. You will negotiate delivery expedites with critical suppliers, update order confirmations, and support Accounts Payable Team on invoice handling.

Requirements

• 5-7 yrs. of experience as a Buyer dealing with end-to-end SCM
• A relevant university degree in either engineering or business
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Expertise with SAP and Good proficiency in analytics
• Good English written and verbal communication skills and able to speak with conviction
• Effective time management, documentation, and organizational skills
