Job Description
Ververica is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, provision, and maintain their Unified Streaming Data Platform across cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure. The role focuses on building reliability, security, and optimizing performance through architectural improvements, automation, and close collaboration with software engineering teams. They will contribute to product development and incident management.
Requirements
- Build and maintain the infrastructure for Ververica’s Unified Streaming Data Platform.
- Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Implement and enhance observability tooling, including Grafana, Prometheus, and logging systems.
- Ensure system reliability through SRE best practices, including defining SLIs and SLOs.
- Improve infrastructure architecture and engineering efficiency.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, identify, and resolve security vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to the successful development and launch of new products.
