Job Description
Vertiv is seeking a Sr. Engineering Test Technician to join the Product Integrity team. This role focuses on setting up and operating test systems and collecting data during validation projects, especially within the Power Management business unit. The technician will maintain the unit under test and ensure proper data collection. This position is based at Vertiv's Delaware, OH location.
Requirements
- Associate of Science majoring in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or military certification
- 1-5 years of relevant experience
- Broad knowledge of electrical and mechanical test techniques
- Experience with 208/230/480V/600V 3-phase 60/50 Hz wiring and equipment
- Experience with 120v 1-phase 60Hz wiring and equipment
- Experience with instrumentation and low volt wiring
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- General mechanical skills assembling and disassembling electrical equipment
- Good working knowledge of testing of electrical equipment
- Basic experience setting up and using oscilloscopes, power meters
