Job Description
Vertiv is seeking a Principal Engineer, Power Solutions to design, develop, and test integrated power conversion and distribution systems. This role involves conceptualization, detailed design, testing, and production readiness of these systems. The position requires close collaboration with customers, sales, and engineering teams and operates in a global environment. The position will be based onsite at the Delaware, OH location.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical degree
- Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred
- 10+ years technical, product/service development and testing experience
- Experience with 3-phase power distribution or UPS systems is preferred
- Prior people management experience is preferred
- Proficiency with CAD software (Creo or similar), Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to develop cross-functional and cross-regional relationships
