Job Description
Vertiv is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Piove di Sacco, Italy. This role focuses on floor mount/chiller products, requiring collaboration with various internal departments, including procurement, industrial engineering, and P&L. The engineer will be responsible for design, review of product documentation, problem-solving, and achieving trade-offs between cost, quality, and execution.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of prior working experience in Chiller or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning)
- Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD & PLM systems (PTC Creo)
- Knowledge of technical norms and company procedures
- Knowledge of technical drawings and Bill of Materials
- Good English proficiency
