Job Description
Vertical Aerospace is a rapidly growing eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) company focused on developing the future of sustainable aviation. They are seeking a Battery Test Technician to prepare, run, and support battery testing activities, ensuring performance and safety standards are met. This role involves hands-on work with high-voltage battery assemblies and meticulous documentation. The company emphasizes team work, safety, and innovation.
Requirements
- Support delivery and reporting of battery testing covering mechanical, thermal, and electrical performance.
- Conduct tests such as long-term electrical cycling, vibration, IP, cooling system, BMS, EMC, and safety tests.
- Assist in the design and setup of electrical systems for test rigs across HV and LV networks.
- Perform calibration, configuration, and maintenance of laboratory test equipment.
