Job Description
Versa Networks is seeking a Sr. Wireless Development Engineer to contribute to the development of their growing network and security products. The role involves testing, verifying, and debugging new features, working with engineering teams, and improving product performance. The company is a rapidly expanding organization within the secure SD-WAN and branch network markets.
Requirements
- Proficient in C programming, Data structures, and Algorithms
- Experience with Wi-Fi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
- Debugging skills with tools like GDB and strace
- Understanding of Linux/Unix system programming and networking protocols
- Understanding of TCP/IP
- Working experience with OpenWRT/Wifi
- 11ax features (UL, DL OFDMA, MU MIMO, TWT, BSS color)
- Understanding of PHY/MAC/application layer debugging
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, etc.)
- Bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla)
