Backend Software Engineer

Verneek is seeking a backend Software Engineer to join a core team building AI-native helpful experiences for consumers. This is an early-stage AI startup focused on building a generative AI platform, and engineers will work directly with the platform's proprietary AI, contributing to fundamental AI research. The role involves solving complex problems with a collaborative and engaging environment.

Requirements

• BSc. degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 3+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience with Go, Rust, or Scala
• 2+ years hands-on experience developing architectures with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch
• Demonstrated AI/NLP engineering skillset
• Working authorization in the USA at the time of hire
