Job Description
As the Director, Data and Science (Analytic Solutions - Epidemiology and Biostatistics Study Design) at Verana Health, you'll be at the forefront of transforming healthcare through data-driven insights, leading collaborations with life science partners, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within your team.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related field
- 7+ years of experience in epidemiological and biostatistical study design within life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors
- 3+ years of experience managing research study teams, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Comprehensive understanding of advanced epidemiological and biostatistical principles and their application in healthcare research
- Proven ability in team resource allocation and project management
- Strong client-facing skills with demonstrated success in building relationships in the healthcare analytics space
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, or STATA) and familiarity with SQL and Python
- Solid experience working with clinical datasets and coding systems
