Job Description
Velan Studios is seeking a highly passionate and skilled Gameplay Animator to collaborate with a small team to create eye-catching and emotionally resonant gameplay experiences. The role involves developing character animations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to overall game development. This is a hybrid role working in a Troy, NY office.
Requirements
- 5+ years of game industry experience with gameplay animation.
- Killer demo reel showcasing solid and entertaining animations.
- Expert in Maya or equivalent 3D animation software.
- Experience with game engines like Unreal or Unity.
- Self-driven and proactive in problem solving.
- Able to effectively communicate technical needs to Engineering/Tech Art/Design.
