Job Description
Veezu is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own the flagship Android Passenger application, a cornerstone of their mobile platform. This role requires significant autonomy to shape the future of the mobile platform, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security. The team works closely with a senior group of engineers and the role involves establishing industry-standard mobile engineering practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and Java
- Mastery of Jetpack Compose and Material Design
- Advanced skills in asynchronous programming (Kotlin Coroutines)
- Expertise with dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Hilt)
- Competence in unit testing, UI testing (Espresso), and instrumentation testing
- Deep knowledge of Android SDK and key Jetpack libraries
- Strong knowledge of security best practices for Android apps
- Commitment to maintaining ISO27001 and high information security standards
