H9331 - Safety Instructor Wage

The Safety Instructor position supports the District's safety training needs, coordinating schedules, teaching safety-related training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Responsibilities include conducting First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogen training, along with Maintenance training and assisting with new employee CDL training. The role requires maintaining safety records and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

• Ability to collect and analyze data and maintain records.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and make presentations.
• Ability to implement a needs-based technical training program.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations, guidelines and policies.
• Ability to use computers and software applications.
• Knowledge and skill in CDL equipment and operations.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations regarding workplace safety.
