Transactional Law Associate Counsel

Vanguard is seeking a Transactional Law Associate Counsel to join its Derivatives and Global Equities Legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating legal documents, supporting new services and product developments, and advising internal clients and business units on global legal issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years law firm experience or in-house corporate experience in a bank, broker/dealer or investment firm.
• Knowledge and experience in derivatives, securities lending, repurchase transactions, and/or custody (legal documentation and global regulatory framework).
• Track record for highly successful contract and dispute negotiations.
• Ability to develop positive relationships and work confidently and cooperatively with legal colleagues, business unit managers/employees, and external entities.
