Valsoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join their team in Canada. This role focuses on overseeing Canadian and U.S. tax compliance, managing tax provision work, supporting transfer pricing, and assisting with international due diligence and M&A tax matters. The ideal candidate will understand U.S. and international tax, possess strong technical expertise, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Requirements

• Professional CPA/CA designation
• 4+ years of post designation tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of Canadian & U.S. corporate taxation
• Experience managing tax compliance and provision processes
• Familiarity with M&A tax due diligence, tax structuring, and cross-border tax planning
• Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities
