Sr. Director, Skeletal Muscle and Cardiometabolic Diseases

Valo Health is seeking a Sr. Director to lead the validation and progression of drug targets for obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Biological Sciences or a related field with 13+ years of experience and expertise in skeletal muscle biology.

Requirements

• PhD in Biological Sciences or a related field
• 13+ years of experience in skeletal muscle biology
• Experience leading small molecule drug discovery project teams
• Experience building and leading high functioning teams of multiple skill levels
• Track record of impactful scientific contributions
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
