Job Description
Valdera is seeking a Chemicals Supplier Engagement Specialist to drive engagement with specialty chemical and raw material suppliers. This role involves managing RFQs, conducting supplier assessments, and building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality material sourcing and efficient procurement. The role is critical for delivering value to buyers on Valdera’s procurement platform, focusing on proactively engaging with suppliers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or natural science
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, technical sales, business development, partnership, or management consulting
- Demonstrated ability to conduct supply market assessments
- Extensive knowledge of chemicals / raw materials
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
