Prepares, positions, and scans patients for Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT exams. Prepares and administers radioactive isotopes, and operates Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging equipment.
Requirements
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT(N))
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
- 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
