Community Event Implementation Assistant

USU Extension in Salt Lake County is seeking Community Event Implementation Assistants to support the delivery of educational programs across the Salt Lake area. These roles involve assisting with program setup, participant engagement, and providing support to various events and programs at schools, libraries, and community centers. The position is flexible with varying work schedules based on event demands and employee availability.

Requirements

• Serving as part of the event/program support team.
• Helping with room and activity set up and cleanup.
• Engaging in games, activities, and crafts with preschool- and school-age children.
• Directing program participants to classrooms or activity locations.
• Greeting and welcoming program participants.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to locations within Salt Lake County.
